Annual giving

Annual gifts enable the Turchin Center to present a challenging and exciting roster of artists whose work provides a diverse look at the visual arts and invites visitors to expand their perspectives through creative and critical thinking. Annual gifts also support the critical education and outreach programming that engages participants of all ages in the visual arts through activities such as tours for groups of all ages, and hands-on arts activities for children and adults, including groups that lack access to arts programming due to factors such as geographic isolation, economic hardship, cultural barriers, disability, or age.

For donors interested in establishing a permanent legacy, the Turchin Center offers opportunities to name a gallery, or by attaching one’s name to an area of programming of interest to the donor.  Naming and endowment opportunities can also be arranged to honor or memorialize a friend or family member. Collection Gifts

The Turchin Center is pleased to accept donations of artwork that meet the guidelines of its acquisition policy. In keeping with a commitment to the ethical care of works gifted, the TCVA has a limited collection policy to insure appropriate archival care, storage, and usage. Whether or not the Turchin Center is able to accept your proposed gift, promised gift, or loan, we are always grateful to someone who thinks of the center as a potential recipient. The TCVA accepts tax-deductible cash gifts, and gifts in-kind to benefit of the Permanent Collection, either through further acquisition or direct improvements in the care of the Permanent Collection.
