Where There’s Smoke… Ceramics and Glass

July 1, 2005 – October 1, 2005(This exhibition has passed.)

This exhibition features two historically significant media within the visual arts culture of North Carolina – clay and ceramics. The works included focus on inventive forms, techniques, concepts, and juxtaposition of materials that explore the sculptural potential of these dynamic media. The work of established and emerging artists included in this exhibition clearly reflects the range of possibilities, and offers many challenging new directions for the future.
