As part of the Darwin Series, the Turchin Center celebrated the anniversary with a special class where participants used multiple art methods to re-enact the journey of Charles Darwin on the HMS Beagle. The class, part of the TCVA’s After School Art Program from students from ages 6-12, made maps, built model ships, studied rocks, invented species, and now presents their work as a special exhibition in the Turchin Center.
