Eliana Arenas was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. She currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two children. Arenas’ jewelry and installation work explores the capabilities of human beings to adjust to difficult situations. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, OR. Arenas has participated in selected exhibitions such as La Frontera, SOFA, 13 Annual International Expositions of Sculpture and Functional Art, Touching Warms the Art and Absence and Discomfort.
