Presented by Appalachian State University’s Outdoor Programs in partnership with The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, the Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition (AMPC) provides both amateur and professional photographers the opportunity to showcase their interpretation of the unique character, people, places, and pursuits that distinguish the Southern Appalachians. AMPC is made possible through the sponsorship of Virtual Blue Ridge, the premier online resource for the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Mast General Store.
