About the Guide
Ava Kassab, raised in Hickory, NC, is majoring in Art management at Appalachian State University, with a minor in Nonprofit organizations. Her work explores themes of unconditional love and acceptance, spirituality, and a deep respect for nature. Drawing and painting with mixed media are her key mediums, primarily using acrylic paint, acrylic markers, ink pens, colored pencils, and more. Ava has exhibited work in Newton, NC, at NoCo Arts gallery and at Appalachian State’s Smith Gallery and Looking Glass Gallery.
