Join us for drop-in artmaking to nourish your creative spirit in the Turchin Center’s Moskowitz space. Explore invitations to create inspired by current exhibitions in a casual and welcoming setting. Hosted by TCVA Student Intern Mandy Bass, these artmaking workshops are open to all skill levels. All supplies are provided.
About the Instructor
Mandy Bass is a senior at Appalachian State University, double majoring in Studio Art with a concentration in Sculpture and Art and Visual Culture with a concentration in Art Management, and minoring in Nonprofit Organizations. Her work focuses on creating non-objective and representational sculptural objects that explore interactions and relationships among objects, humans (including ourselves), and the fragile natural world. Mandy is also the current Art Collections and Looking Glass Gallery Manager for the Plemmons Student Union at Appalachian State University.
