Join Appalachian State University student instructor Dora Hagaman in the Moskowitz Gallery on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the semester from 2-4pm. Designed for all experience levels, Drop-In Artmaking provides an open space to experiment and engage with various art supplies.
About the Instructor
Dora Hagaman: A senior at Appalachian State University majoring in Art Management with a minor in Non-Profit Management, Dora Hagaman draws profound inspiration from her roots in Boone. As a fiber artist and developing painter, her creative work often celebrates her love for crochet, flowers, and local agriculture. Dora seeks to give back to the Watauga community that raised her by fostering connections through art and local engagement. Before joining the Turchin Center team, she gained valuable experience as an intern at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum. Her work has been showcased at the Looking Glass Gallery and featured in The Peel Literature & Arts Review.
