About the Instructors

Mellanee Goodman is an Art Management senior at Appalachian State University.  She enjoys working with watercolor and acrylic paints and her favorite style of exhibitions is contemporary surrealism. She feels it is very important to expose the local community to art and culture and is excited to guide and inspire young students during this creative art class.

Wanda R. Ortiz is a Puerto Rico native who set up camp in the mountains of Appalachia many summers ago.  She currently has an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy, which was completed at Appalachian State University.
