Monday - Friday, June 25 – 29, 2018

Campers will grab their passports and travel around the world to experience cultural history and international art. The trip starts in Panama, then travels south to Brazil, across the ocean to Ghana, Ukraine, Middle East, India, China, Australia, Fiji and will finish in the state of Alaska. Students will learn about techniques, styles and art created in each of the countries including printmaking, painting, mosaics, and more.

About the instructor

Molly Eckert is a self-taught mixed media artist, ceramicist and painter who learned at a very early age, the power art can have on the human spirit. Molly earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics, with an emphasis on Art Education. Art is at the core of who she is and what she does. Her own work reflects distinctive textures, bold colors, and whimsical compositions. Molly loves sharing art with people of all ages and the inspirational powers it has for igniting creativity and healing. When not creating, she enjoys time with her four children, as well as other friends and family.
