ASU Campus

Ten finalists will be selected for installation on the Appalachian State University’s (ASU) campus. All finalists, whose
works are installed on campus, will receive a $1,000 honorarium. The Rosen Sculpture Competition will provide
installation equipment and will cover the cost of installation and lodging during installation and de-installation. One
artist will be named as the Martin & Doris Rosen Award Winner and will receive a cash prize of $5,000 plus a
weeklong residency with additional stipend, within ASU’s Department of Art during the 2011-2012 academic year.
Awards and Honoraria total $17,500. In addition, the Rosen Sculpture Competition is a featured exhibition offering a
printed catalog, audio tour powered by Guide By Cell, sales program, optional insurance coverage and
comprehensive archives on the competition’s website located at www.rosensculpture.org.

The exhibition will be featured on the campus of Appalachian State University from May 2011-February 2012.
