The Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition (AMPC), a presentation of ASU Outdoor Programs and University Recreation, is an opportunity to showcase the unique character of the Southern Appalachian Region through photography. Entries may be submitted in the categories of Culture, Environment, Adventure, Landscape, Flora/Fauna, and new to this year's competition Blue Ridge Parkway. Prizes will be awarded in each category and winning and Special Mention photographs will be displayed at the Turchin Center.

Based on guidelines announced by Appalachian State University, the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts has revised its schedule. Schedules and guidelines are subject to further change in the coming days and weeks. All schedule changes specific to public events at the Turchin Center will be posted on the Turchin Center’s website and on Facebook.
