SUMMARY:Blazing Easels Fall 2026
DESCRIPTION:Registration now open\nYoung artists (ages 7-12 or 2nd-6th grade) will find inspiration in the exhibitions within the Turchin Center galleries to create artwork in a variety of mediums including\, but not limited to: collage\, painting\, drawing\, sculpture\, photography and fiber arts. Participants will explore ideas through art-making and find their artistic voice in a relaxed\, inviting\, in person setting. These workshops are thoughtfully planned and facilitated by Appalachian State art education students. \nClass Dates: September 11\, 18 & 25\, October 2\, 9\, 16\, 23 & 30\, November 6 \nCost for the semester is $40; all materials are included.  Registration is required. \nScholarships are available\, contact Christy Chenausky for more information at chenauskyc@appstate.edu. \nEducational programming is brought to you in part by the generous support of the Tina Silverstein Opportunity Fund.
