ArtTALKS: Bill Brown

Event date:
Wednesday, July 3, 2019 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm

According to the Global Citizen there are an estimated 25.4 million refugees worldwide and that number is growing. The United Nations Refugee Agency reports that of that number, over 52% are children. Regionally beloved artist and philanthropist, Bill Brown will talk about why he decided to create his refugee series as a way for one artist to make a difference in the world by contributing to the awareness of the crisis and encouraging others to do the same.

Presented as part of An Appalachian Summer Festival.
