ArtTALKS: Hannah Cole: The Persistence of Weeds

Hannah Cole is a painter living in Asheville. She studied at Yale and Boston University, and has exhibited internationally. She is represented by the Tracey Morgan Gallery in Asheville and the Slag Gallery in Brooklyn. Cole will speak about her place within the larger history of American painting; she will reference the artists who have influenced her practice, Agnes Martin, Franz Kline, and Barnett Newman among others.
