Faculty members from the Department of Art will host this evening event with short six-minute presentations on their creative research. Speakers include: Joe Bigley, Nelle Dunlap, Lynn Duryea, April Flanders, Jeana Eve Klein, Ed Midgett, IlaSahai Prouty and Joshua White.
Pecha Kucha is a presentation style where 20 images are shown for 20 seconds each. Pecha Kucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works and thoughts.
This event is organized by the Catherine J Smith Gallery in collaboration with the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts.
The Turchin Center Lectures Series are talks led by visiting or exhibiting artists, scholars and practitioners. These talks provide deeper insight into creative practice, context for current exhibitions or contemporary issues shaping the world in which art is created, experienced and interpreted.
